The Predator
The Star Attraction
The star attraction at BPF is the Predator – a 7-foot-tall hunter-warrior whose sole purpose is to ‘kill’. He searches for players and eliminates them when he finds them – simple as that! However, if they move, the Predator only sees players that move; stand completely still, and he’ll move on without confrontation. If you move while he’s looking in your direction, he’ll identify you as a threat and shoot you. If you’re brave (or stupid) enough to engage the Predator in battle, he’ll return fire until he’s done. But be warned, his superior firepower and accuracy rarely see him defeated and leave many a good soldier squealing in his wake!!!!!
Full or half-day paintballers, junior paintballers, and laser tag players all face the Predator during their day. He’s released into games at random; his presence is signified by two whistle blasts instead of one, so listen carefully as each game begins – a surprise encounter with the Predator at Bawtry Paintball isn’t a pleasant experience!!! If he’s in a friendly-ish mood, he might make a surprise appearance in Basecamp, on our Tomahawk Range, or Archery Range for a group photo – grab a selfie if you dare!
