A: Yes, players must be 12 years of age or older to play paintball.
A: There are no restrictions on how few or how many people you bring along.
We often mix groups of two or three players with other groups to make up numbers.
A: Juniors are always put in with beginners, however we realise that dads and older brother etc may wish to play too, so we decide on who goes into a group based on experience rather than age. This makes for more fun and a friendlier day for everyone.
A: Yes, we have more and more females play each year.
A: This is very much down to you. Although this is a very good question, it’s almost impossible to answer, some players will last all day on 200 balls, some trigger-happy nutters may need a lot more. The average is between 600 and 800 paintballs.
A: Of course not. Our paintballs are premium quality to ensure they fly straight and don’t keep breaking in your hopper or barrel. Most paintballs sold on the internet are seconds and cause more problems than they’re worth, spoiling your day. Anyone trying to use their own paintballs will be ejected from the site.
A: Yes, we’re the biggest Paintball venue in Europe and opperate all year round.
A: Yes, although minimum numbers of 18 players apply. We’re always open on Saturdays and Sundays so if there are just a few of you, that’s your best option.
A: Yes, throughout the summer when light allows. Times and availability vary so best to phone to check.
A: It’s best to call us first to avoid disappointment. We do work with some agencies but best to check.
A: Yes, although all card payments made on site are subject to a 5% surcharge.
A: We’ve never cancelled a game due to adverse weather. The trees give a lot of cover anyway and once you get stuck-in you’ll forget about the rain or snow.
A: We have sizes up to XXXL (about 56” chest). If you think you’ll struggle, you’re welcome to bring a fleece and some old jeans or combat pants to wear instead, although avoid wearing bright colours!
A: No. We do sell flexi-armour full-finger gloves to keep. Boots are recommended, although old trainers are fine too. Wellies are not ideal as they offer no ankle support. It can get muddy in some game zones.
A: Not at all, as a general rule it’s the players that use their brains and play strategically who do best at paintball. You’re welcome to hide-out in a bunker and let the enemy to bring the battle to you!
A: This depends on how close we are to the date. If you give us plenty of notice, we’ll do our best to offer an alternative date. However calling us at short notice will usually result in deposits being lost as staff and catering will have already been booked and we may have turned other people away.
A: We book staff and catering based on deposits paid so if players don’t turn-up we still have these costs to pay. We may also have turned away other players on busy days. Taking a deposit helps organisers by getting some commitment from their friends – afterall it takes a lot of effort arranging a day out.
A: We don’t allow players to use their own guns at BPF; it just annoys other players, spoils their day and simply wouldn’t be fair. If you have your own cammo coveralls or face mask, then that’s fine providing they meet our safety standards.

A: Yes, players must be in school year seven or be at least eight years of age to play.

A: Yes, you’re welcome to watch. There are spectator areas at most game zones where you can take a couple of pics or shoot some video. In the interest of child protection, we ask that no cameras are used while any participants are getting changed in the Base Camp area.
A: Of course. We have dedicated covered party areas with long tables and benches perfect for party food and singing happy birthday! Hot-dogs etc are also available on site if you prefer.
